Bill obviously loves the paycheck more than he loves Iowa State. How can you have all this attrition and not think it might be time for a change?
Hard spot for Audi - even Kenzie staying I think would've added to reasons to stay with both her & AJ. Now you've got just AJ, basically. But will anyone else play the same kind of style - or is that a benefit of trying something new? Hard to know, not an enviable position to be in.
I saw very few plays, it was stand in your spot while Jada dribbled around and tried to pass to Audi. If they were doubling her they would get a pass.
I betting whoever chose us to invite to the Champion's Classic game vs Michigan is really regreting it right now.

I feel for AJ, by all account she bleeds Cardinal and Gold, is a very kind person, and is obviously smart with her earning scholar athlete of the year in the Big 12. I hope she can still have a season to be proud of next year.

There's a little more of a damper considering other circumstances, but clearly she means a lot to the program and I was very impressed by how she helped right the ship when she came back from injury. Emily staying a few years back was a big moment in how she's viewed for the rest of her life by ISU fans, and AJ would be no different. No one begrudges those that have left (least of all me), but those that choose to stay and end their careers in cardinal & gold even amidst these big challenges have a place in my heart, no matter how next year goes.
I would add Jackson and Crooks to that. I feel bad for all 3. I will add that if the young ladies feel it was a bad decision to come play at ISU, that is a bummer. And wish them well.
I feel bad for AJ. She's a Cyclone to the bone and is going to be forced to either leave and play for another team or stay and play for what'll likely be a really bad team for her senior year.
For those of you that are concerned remember that we were assured by Lyndsey Fennelly that we will have a team next year.
