I got called an idiot for saying Jefferson career was done at Iowa stateAnyone who thought he was going to play last Sunday or tonight is delusional. They did a good job keeping everyone’s hopes up, but it was all for show.

His name sounds very Eastern European, so you probably deserve half credit for that one.Milan disappears in big games and he especially disappears in the ncaa tourney dude belongs in Europe
Fire Nate Schmidt immediately for starters, he is beyond pathetic and then find guards who can hit a Free throw.SO what is your solution?
We could use some bigger, stronger wings. But so does everyone else. $$$I kind of keep wondering about that too. The way we looked…I’m just not sure Jefferson would have made a difference. I guess we’ll never know though…
No you’re an idiot for many other reasonsI got called an idiot for saying Jefferson career was done at Iowa state
Lipsey wasn’t the problem either. Better free throw shooting would’ve been nice, but his misses weren’t really the issue.Lipsey love you but we need guards in the future who can make basic free throws and a jump shot if we ever want to do anything meaningful.
Jefferson just said he wasn't even close to being able to play today and probably not Sunday either had we advanced.
Uhhh yes... for sure. They nearly lost it WITH Stirtz. That's how much of a crapshoot the tourney can be... Clemson and Iowa was a 4 pt game with just over a minute left in the game. Iowa could have easily lost that one, and the Iowa fans would have all been ticked off at their season... and nobody would know who they even are.If Iowa lost Stirtz they would have lost first round.
You should keep cheering for mediocrity while our rival is in an elite 8 and we just got embarrassed yet again in a sweet 16His name sounds very Eastern European, so you probably deserve half credit for that one.
You should quit now while you’re really, really far behind.
Wait what? Who?So they should have two All Americans to help him? Arizona had zero on first and second team by the way
Stop it. You're making too much senseHow many teams are going to make a deep run without their best player? You saw it with Tech losing Toppin. BYU losing Saunders certainly hurt them. Take away Stirtz from Iowa, Boozer from Duke, Lendeborg from Michigan, or Wagler from Illinois. Could they still make a deep run? I suppose its possible, but its a heck of a lot harder to do. Truth is it was just bad luck with Jefferson getting hurt, and while tonight was a disappointing result it shouldn't be a huge surprise either.
He wasn't open, they hounded him on defense and made us beat them with the other 4 players which was the perfect gameplan.Milan disappears in big games and he especially disappears in the ncaa tourney dude belongs in Europe
Panicking and getting tired isn't quitting. And what exactly was positive about the second half? Mentally, they were starting to get checked out once the lead ballooned for Tennessee. It became a panic out there and you could just sense it.
I think the point he’s making is that the focus would have shifted from Milan to Jefferson, and Jefferson can play poorly when he’s hounded the way Tennessee would have been able to. If Toure and Milan would have been hitting their shots, then we would have been OK, but I don’t know that Jefferson would have had a great game…
Wow.... you are the absolute worst Cyclone fan out there possibly. You had better just be a troll. Yikes. Feel for you people like you.Lipsey love you but we need guards in the future who can make basic free throws and a jump shot if we ever want to do anything meaningful.

He is our Lendeborg. Would Michigan dropI’m guessing Josh would have had about 12 points and 10 boards. With the way they would have collapsed on him in the paint his assist number may have been high as well. This far into the tournament not many teams can afford to lose an All American
So what do you consider ‘following through on it’? Obviously being one of the last 9 standing isn’t good enough. He ain’t wrong TJ loves winning meaningless games getting a little hype but never following through on it
