Michigan is in the Elite Eight for the first time since 2021and the 16th time overall. They are 8-7 in the Elite Eight. Their last Elite Eight win was in 2018 vs Florida State. Michigan is 1-1 as a #1 seed in the Elite Eight.
And that was after a relatively hot start.
Alabama sure likes the dribble dribble miss a three offense. Definitely would have preferred them.
It’s easy to say this, but had they shot the lights out and won we all would have said the opposite. But ya, Michigan is a different sort of monster.
