Off-season 2026; Roster Needs/Portal

I hope he sticks at Little Rock. Better for the sport if these guys have success and stay at their school

Wisconsin should be so much better than what they are. Their AD must really not care about wrestling
The AD is joke. Barry Alvarez hand picked heir, no wonder it's a disaster.

Bono is also impossible for anyone to get along with for an extended time, so the financial support sucks, relationships with WI clubs suck, etc. Now that Reader is gone it'll be worse. I figured Amos might leave now that Reader has, because he's been a Reader guy for a LONG time.

it'd be amazing if Askren got the HC job there but doubt they care about wrestling that much to make such a splash
I could be wrong, but I think Askren and that AD have butted heads already. So Askren to Wisky won't happen unless changes happen at the top.

No inside info but feels like Iowa would want him
Wouldn’t ISU also be interested? Not sure if he’s still a 33, but if so we don’t have one. Plus, Lehigh is an engineering school. Not sure what kind of grad program he’s interested in.

iowa and ISU are the 2 current favorites right now. either way its crazy to think he's been in college for 4 year already seems like yesterday when he beat Vito for the first time

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I’d prefer the money being spent on 165,184,197, rather than 133 when you have Grice/Ortega (if eligible) there.

Pearson showed some promise too in the matches he wrestled, but I would agree. Especially with our injury luck combined with Crookhams injury history, might be a risky investment

I said in the other thread, but will put here too. Crookham is an amazing talent, but has been sidelined two straight years with injury.
