I think it’s vital our two bigs avoid foul trouble. Even if we give up some posters.Have to be able to jump shoot today and likely 40%+ from 3. We are going to get destroyed in the paint on both ends if I had to guess.
If we play gritty defensively and force them into playing 1 on 1 in half court sets we have a chance. If we try to small ball our way into a track meet we are going to get smoked.
We’ve been absent when it comes to rebounding on occasion this year. I think because it’s such an obvious disadvantage we’re going to see our guys hit the boards with passion today.I think we'll play good enough defense to win. My concern is how their length affects our smaller lineup, and rebounding. Hopefully we're hitting shots, a guy like Batemon stepping up will be huge.
Been thinking alot what I would do if I were TJ in this situation - and let me be clear - we should all be extremely thankful I am not TJ in this (or any) situation:
1) I think he is crushed - not because the team is in trouble but because JJeff has put so much into show casing his skills on the biggest stage. I don't if he is playing the "Win one for the JJeff-er" card but I sure would.
2) He and Tamin probably don't even need to discuss but this may be his big opportunity to put his skills on display on the biggest stage - at the very least he needs a typical Tamin game.
3) Will look for spots to get Dom and Mulder 3-5 minutes before others get in foul trouble. If we can get get to 2nd half within 2 scores and no foul trouble that would be key.
I assume the others will do what they need to but am not counting on anyone really going off.
Kentucky's game plan is going to be to stop Milan, then stop Milan and if they can, stop Milan. It would be other worldly if he gets more than 10-12 this game.
First team to 70 wins.
That’s my biggest concern. You can focus on one guy to shut down now instead of 2. Going to need to win this one with defense and scoring off turnovers.Been thinking alot what I would do if I were TJ in this situation - and let me be clear - we should all be extremely thankful I am not TJ in this (or any) situation:

Agree on Mulder at the 4. He at least has 5 fouls to give.Been thinking alot what I would do if I were TJ in this situation - and let me be clear - we should all be extremely thankful I am not TJ in this (or any) situation:

I wish I operated like you do.Even without Jeff I’m not concerned. I think we are gonna give Kentucky an ass whooping. Bottom line is I don’t respect Kentucky at all. Nobody has done less with more in the modern NIL era. **** that school.
