The announcers are mistaking the name on Kentucky's jersey and this years actual team. WE are the higher caliber team this year.
I know opponent needs to be taken into account but108 points without your best player is pretty damn impressive

Yeah we have played worse teams earlier in the season with Jefferson and didn't hit that mark.
Which is why people preparing the pens and stationery to write ISU's eulogy were so far off base. Yes, we're better with JJ. But this team is much, much more beyond him. And we're not even sure we'll be without him going forward yet.
Not at all…. exact opposite. Like you even mentioned…. it was a fluke…. that can happen at ANY time! So why risk it happening when the game is COMPLETELY out of reach? We were up almost 40 with 4 mins left and all our starters still in. I’m sorry…. that’s stupid!!

Otz kept his guys in to get more time together and create more chemistry without Jefferson on the court. He is preparing the team to be at their best.

Most points by any team so far. Second largest margin of victory of the tourney. All with basically no minutes from your two senior leaders.
Might be gone, but Rise playing today doesn't signify anything. ISU's website shows Mitchell hasn't played since December 21. So my guess is they are preserving a year of eligibility.
