I don't think I've seen any of the other tournament games called as tight as this so far!

JJ is the absolute only player Iowa State couldn't afford to lose. Even if Lipsey went down we have some guards to pick up the slack but nobody can come close to replacing what JJ brings.
They could go small with Batemon and still be effective. Obviously not good, but at least they have some depth.
I think Sweet Sixteen is the best we can hope for now... that's the goal. But it's going to take a few other guys to really step up big time.
I mean they are gonna do that on any ankle sprain just to rule out a break.
I think we could still get by Kentucky but sweet 16 is the absolute ceiling.
Out of the month and year, maybe.
Let's hope not structural....we can win today without him ...and maybe a next round ..maybe then could be ready for next weekend if we could make it.
But, no way we could make a run without him.

Whats with all the foul calls? Yesterday I watched several games with 2 minutes left in the first half and less than 4 fouls on each team.
hopefully it's a bad sprain and he'll be back for next weekend (lying to myself to make myself feel better)
This is why I think it’s so dumb when we hear/say things like…I don’t care about X, just our tournament seeding/results.
