Inside, Arizona is magnitude of order bigger and better than Tech. Koa Pete is like their 4th biggest guy that plays and I thought he dwarfed JJ in Tucson.I thought we looked OUTSTANDING in the paint vs Tech. Going to have to keep that up to beat AZ but I'm very encouraged with what I saw.
As a novel woodworker, my first thought is why couldn't they clear coat the glass with a urethane (or similar) finish to replicate a wood floor? Too late for this session but seems a little innovation could be a simple fix. Glad it was tested and hopefully no players were affected, but leave the testing to the labs rather than making the players guinea pigs. Kudos to Brett for pioneering the project and thanks to Brett for addressing the problems.

No Bilas for me! John and Eric!Arizona won't have that intimidation factor this time so it'll be a whole different game. The revenge tour is a real thing! Jefferson froze his balls off last night and feels like a million bucks today. He'll make Koa Peat his *****. I wouldn't be surprised to see us pull away from them and make Jay Bilas have to talk about how good we are going into the tournament.
Thanks Rulzzz!!!!View attachment 168858 vs View attachment 168859

Of all the people i would try and chirp at and taunt on the defensive end is Toure. That guy has more sass and fight in him than anyone. Sooo many opponents get in his face, and he's relentless in payback. They 99% of the time have the worst day after this.A few things I'm watching today:
1. Arizona #0 Jaden Bradley trying to get into Toure's head between plays. In Tucson, Bradley was often chirping at Toure and bumping him as he came down court without the ball. One time, Bradley even wrapped his arms around Toure's mid-section as they walked downcourt on a deadball. It was like he was showing Toure what he could do without getting called for a foul. You can get away with more of that stuff at home than in KC.
usually, the third game in KC is a struggle offensively early due to tired legs. We are going to need to rely heavy on our defense early to keep it close.

2. Arizona #2 Dwayne Aristode constantly being all over Milan. In Tucson, Aristode was incredibly physcial and aggressive with Milan, both when he had the ball and when he was trying to get open. I hope that Aristode gets called for more fouls, but I also hope that Milan fights harder to get open for passes and shots.
3. Driving into their bigs early. In Tucson, it seemed like we were afraid to take it to the hoop. Yes, their interior defense is really strong, but I don't think we should leave it untested. Again, I think that they are more likely to be called for fouls in KC than they were at home.
4. Not leaving guys wide open under the basket. Kudos to the Texas Tech coaches for spotting the hole in our defense and exploiting it at least 3 times in the first 10 minutes of the second half. Kudos to the Iowa State coaches for making an adjustment. I don't Tech got another one of these for the rest of the game (although they did get at least two passes in the second half to someone under the basket, but they weren't uncovered) like in the first half.
