Said another way, don't lose Saturday or Wednesday in KC. If we drop one of those, 4 seed would definitely be in play.
I really, really doubt it. Right now, I'm guessing we're hovering on the 2/3 line, lose to ASU and we're a 3 for sure. Won't drop to a 4 because the conference tournament isn't given much weight, if any.

Screwing Tang out of his contract is going to have repercussions I believe.

Occam’s razor here tells me he asked about roster budget and they couldn’t give a firm number given that Tang isn’t playing ball. Otherwise turning down a P4 in the current environment seems crazy

Here is my question for those of you that follow this closer than i do-if ISU runs the table next week and wins over AZ or UH, or both, do they sniff a 1 seed?

A lot of posters here have been putting a LOT of faith in the consistency of the committee. I'm trying to think of a time we've been placed favorably.

No. Committee has said conference tourneys mean nada. They'll have their bracket, espeically the top seeds, done by Friday of next week

no chance. P4 tournaments may have more of an impact than normal this season given that Houston, Illinois, Iowa State, and Nebraska will have beaten no one good for a week+, but Iowa State isn't going from a fringe 3 to a 1 with UConn finishing strong and Florida being unbeatable since January
