Bracket Predictions 2025-26

I’d rather be the 2 seed in Michigan’s region I think. They’re great but we matchup better with them than other 1s. Maybe I’m crazy but I wouldn’t hate Duke either

For people worried about playing St Louis in St Louis, it can't happen as St Louis can't play in A-10 conference tournament due to fight in VCU game last week. Both are unable to play in A-10 tournament and hence can't be in March Madness.

Uhh...link? That's not at all what is being reported.

No thanks to Illinois in the Sweet 16. Their offense is really good. I'm hopeful for Michigan State or Nebraska.
Purdue is #2 overall offense and we wiped them up. Honestly, I'm just saying no one in the Big Ten besides Michigan really scares me.

At this point I think we’re just hoping for as few teams that can go five out and shoot it as possible. Illinois looks like a shell of what it was weeks ago, but has size, a great cheat-code PG, and shooters. wouldn’t want them. The optimistic take would be that there aren’t many teams that have the guys and ability to execute a gameplan like Tech’s yesterday, but I think Illinois at its best would be similar

It seems there's a group of teams just shuffling around their positions in the overall snake ranking. Teams that are pretty much out of the race for their regular season championship, and they know the conference tournaments are not important. Basically just trying to get thru the regular season healthy, and hoping they can get a good draw and get hot in the ncaa tournament.

Iowa St
Houston
Kansas
Illinois
Purdue
Mich St
Virginia
Nebraska

Most likely a few sweet 16 matchups within this group.

This seems like one of those fake Facebook stories…

Totally possible we've slid down to a 3-seed, but any bracket that has ISU as a 4 should be looked at side-eyed in my opinion. The committee had us as the final 1-seed 9 days ago. To go from 4 to 13 with two "quality" losses when a lot of teams behind us keep losing as well would surprise me.

C'mon ISU a 2 and Huskers a 3 is must see TV

If the committee can make it happen they will try

We have to win 3 games between now and selection Sunday to stay on the 2 line. Most likely will be home Saturday and two wins in KC.

Our combined Q1-Q2 record was 4th in the country with 6 Q1 wins last weekend... Now we are 10th and will likely finish the season .500 in Q1. Also keep in mind our best win of the year at Purdue is no longer impressive and our road performances are HORRIFIC!

Unless we can force live ball turnovers that lead to runouts, this team has a Sweet 16 ceiling

Explain how our road performances are HORRIFIC.

We have 9 road/neutral wins including wins over St. John's, #1 Purdue, by double digits at Okie State, by 30+ over Kansas State, by 15+ over Utah, and by double digits at Baylor.
