*** Official #16 Texas Tech vs #4 IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

I get you but you are going about this ass backward. Honestly you’re making yourself look worse than Darius.
Yea I’m upset. I do think it is shocking that they are still able to post on this website. They will be jolly tonight that’s for sure.

So we shoot 16 more freethrows, force +8 turnovers, +5 offensive rebounds, and we lose by 9 at home. I just don't even know how this happens

Sad that it went down like this at home.

We just don’t have the athleticism and consistent shot making to be a Final Four threat. I’ll buy Sweet 16. Beyond that, have to be skeptical. Too easy for a fatal turd of a game to pop up.

Team played hard, tj got outcoached badly today
I hate to say it but you might be right. Look no further to letting them go on a 15-2 run before finally calling a timeout.

Meanwhile a couple minutes later we went on a 4-0 run and they called a TO right away. And that ended our run, they started another one right away.

Amazing how every possession TTU could get Anderson or Petty switched onto Milan, Jefferson and Buchanan every possession, and ISU can’t get mismatches.

Half court offense is not good. But it’s also easy to defend a team with so little offensive skill in the guard court.

I love Lipsey but his inability to hit any sort of jump shot and Toure having zero offensive game is not great either
Our guards (Lispey, Batemon, and Toure) were 1-11 from three and most of them (with exception of a late contested one by Batemon) were wide open looks.

I like Batemon he’s at least a threat from 3. You can let Lipsey sit out there all day long he isn’t gonna hurt you and either will Toure. They are both incredibly limited offensively

60 shots... don't hit 60, they are 1-5... And the one they did win they had 59 shots.
We had 59 shots today, and still lost by 9. One more shot would not have made a difference one way or another. Its an interesting stat, but less important than making double digest three pointers.

No, I don't think we look good right now. That's no excuse for adults to act like crybabies and slam their own team over one game.
It is not one game though. Team has high expectations they seem to not be able to handle. Gotta play from minute one, not minute 21. TJ's team has struggled with slow starts mist of the year, it is a trend of this team not a one off. With high expectations come high criticism.

Im not sure what to think about postseason right now. My advice for folks is to avoid checking the WV-BYU score right now, as that won’t make us feel any better.
