I've been cautiously optimistic that the Bears weren't actually dumb enough to move the team to Gary. But it is the Bears so there's always that possibility.

Indiana seems ready to pull out the stops. Because they need a hail mary to bring development to that area.
I still would not be surprised if the Gary Bears become real.
I would also not be surprised if they stay in Chicago or move to AH or even trade Caleb
The Packers used to play some home games there until the mid 90s. 3 of the 8 home games actually. Lambeau Field has only been cool for like 25 years of its entire existence.

Dang, I didn't think the Bears would jump state lines. Sort of disappointed in them, but it's all about sucking the tax payer dry to give the billionaires more. Maybe Illinois will counter.
Honestly it seems like a win win, Indiana gets to give away $2 billion dollars that Illinois didn't want to, and it looks like this site is actually closer to the current Soldier Field than Arlington Heights is.
Wolf Lake area, really? Fuel depots and industrial sites galore. Wonder how many superfund cleanup sites that place has. I feel myself getting cancer from just looking at an aerial of the place.
Not to mention Interstate access is horrible to that whole area and general lack of surface streets that will be able to handle game day traffic.

The Bears will only be there for 25 years and then they will want a new stadium again.
