Was the only "name" focal point for me pre-Olympics. She says she is going to try and ski with her torn ACL.

Excited to see the snowboard competitions. The dudes 4 years ago took what Shawn White built and put it on steroids.

Has anyone watched the new Miracle documentary on Netflix? I watched it yesterday and loved it, although admittedly I love everything about that story so it could have been terrible and I still would have enjoyed it.

We did an intro curling class at the curling center in Lakewood, CO. That game is no Joke. Trying to balance in a manner like the girl in the photo is f'ing hard.
My wife's family was into curling back in the day. I did it a couple of times with them We have a couple stones around the house. Every year when the pond behind us freezes up well enough, I go out there and throw them around a bit. Of course, this is completely different than the surface you curl on where they apply water drops and what not, but still kind of fun to try. I miss it, but we don't have a club close enough to us and it isn't cheap.

I was a member of our local curling club (Kettle Moraine) for about 6 years until covid. In a few years when we're empty-nesters I might take it up again. In the meantime, it remains my favorite Olympic sport to watch (summer or winter).
