Generative - which is what most casual users are familiar with in their daily lives - is just one.
Agentic, for example, is different.
I think each will impact different types of businesses and industries in general. In my line of work (mortgage and real estate) I see Agentic AI being way more of a threat to those entry and mid level white collar jobs that are highly repetitive and formulaic. I’ve managed teams of well over 400 people and could do the same work with a team about 1/4 of the size with the right agentic workflows.
There will absolutely be job loss and companies will be anxious to see these financial savings.
