Yeah, I figured out before that point that hiring was not their strong suit when they hired my idiot cousin, with 0 ag experience to be a location manager. I don’t think he lasted six months- but going from personal trainer to manager was certainly an interesting move
They’ll sponsor every big school in their footprint: us, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Mizzou, KU, and KSU. Guarantee.
I feel like, for some reason, Casey's hasn't been big on sponsoring anything related to college athletics. They've spent on naming rights for other things. I guess there's just no direct ties to any of the universities, so they don't care? Seems like Wisconsin-based Kwik Star (Trip) does more with the Iowa universities.
Personally, considering their recent expansion trend and the fact that they do like $15 Billion in annual revenues, we should be hammering them more for their support.
It's probably time I talk with our finance guy at the Vatican to see what we can do. We're not supposed to show favoritism when it comes to college athletics, but the Boss has a special place in His heart for the Cyclones.

I love the optimism, but I think it’s sadly only going to lead to the opposite…a greater divide. It’s not like Ohio State is going to sit around and say…good for ISU. We’ll pass on this opportunity for cash and let the little guy catch up…even the playing field.
They’re going to get the big corporations…and yes, maybe we will get a few dollars from Casey’s or some corn company.
Just let the kids run down the field on kickoffs each eating a slice of Casey’s breakfast pizza.
It would be nice if the University of Missouri could get patches on their jerseys promoting the Fantastic Caverns. It’s always hard to remember how far you are from those…
This is going to be the same problem that we have with NIL already. The highest bidder will get the sponsorship and I can bet you that the highest bidder for that spot on an Iowa State uniform would probably not crack the top 5 of the the bids that the top Big 10 and SEC schools will get.
It will not crack the top 5 in the Big 12. Nearly every school in those other conferences will have a more lucrative sponsor.
The very best ISU “Closer” needs to simply stroll out onto the Shark Tank stage and sell the school… Now, who is our best “all-time” school closer? . Billionaires love schools! Find him! Or her… get it done. 
Principal honestly might be your best shot.
