There is a "2026 Big 12 Football Schedule Reveal" listed on ESPNU tomorrow (Jan. 21), at 10 a.m. CT.

Presumably the schools will also be tweeting/releasing their individual schedules during or immediately after the program.

This is probably as good a thread as any, but any recent news from the Big 12 commissioner, Brett Yormark on improvements/alliances beyond the Equity Funding dud that was announced a few months back? I'm a big fan of Brett, however, the equity talk is disappointing so I hope he has some other things in the works for the Big12 conference including TV spots.

For you that follow this closer, what are you seeing or hearing out there.

Could be the last time we play at Iowa for a while. The Cy-Hawk has yet to be renewed.

I thought the 2026 season was the year ISU doesn't play KSU. I'm guessing that is 2027 then?

Looks like the B1G & ACC are releasing theirs next week. Think SEC has already done it.

Only one bye week this year?

The calendar flips in 2026.

2025 was the earliest possible Week 1 (Aug. 30), and 2026 is the latest possible (Sept. 5).

Back to a 13-week season until 2030.

I'm thinking there will be a Thursday and/or Friday night. Dodged that bullet for a while and it can't go forever with how TV works.
Don't mind a Thu or Fri night game from a visibility standpoint. Only CFB game on TV. Might be great opportunity for a first year coach.

It can be a pain from a tailgating perspective if at JT. But just suck it up and take the afternoon off from work.

Cinci has early season Thursday /Friday written all over it. Don’t know hat either is. Iowa State is valuable to Networks and Cincinnati is not. Best way to maximize viewership

Trying to imagine what the RV Village would be like for a Thursday night game. Doesn't seem like it would be very good.
