***2025 San Francisco 49ers***

Brock's early years found him having serious success with Debo and BA. Gifted BUT.....
No to AJ. Gifted BUT....
No names to offer, free agency or draft, but Brock seems to jive with highly athletic route runners

Keep that cancer away. Dudes that lose their **** about their targets when the team is winning isn’t for Shanahan.
You have zero idea how he would behave in a new environment with a better passing QB and a better offensive scheme.

Just look how Pickens is thriving now with a change of scenery.

Its worth a shot, or stick to Plan A and keep trotting out bad receivers like Jennings who would be WR2 or WR3 on most teams and ones that recover faster from gunshot wounds than minor injuries.

Lest we forget, the team that surrounded Brock early on, o & d, was vastly superior to today's versions.
VASTLY.

The perpetual cycle of an over performing cheap rookie qb that earns a high dollar 2nd contract.

Going to be tough for them to rebuild at that level.

Yeah, not so much. If you look at the details of Brocks contract it is very team friendly.

Except you do. Brown has always been a child and a cancer. And his outbursts are 100% about his own role regardless of team success. A lot of receivers are divas. But most of them get pissed when the team loses and they aren’t getting targeted.

And Pickens is in a contract year and only 24 years old. This year was viewed as one that might make or break his career. Let’s see if after he gets his big contract if he reverts back to his old ways.

Highly athletic route runners?? How about just average route runners?? The 49er wide receivers ranked DEAD LAST in the NFL for their degree of separation last season and I'm guessing they didn't rank much better this season.

EVERY QB jives with highly athletic route runners. Brock is no different.

Kinda glad I wasn't able to witness much of the game last night. There just wasn't anything there. Now, please - someone keep Seattle from winning the Super Bowl in Santa Clara!

Would you rather have ever LA win?

This year's receivers were a Major step down from the likes of Debo and BA.
Not gonna bother with stats, but it's not even debatable that the former and latter dwarf current SF receiver's in all categories.
End all, Brock did pretty damn good this season, considering endless injuries-deficiencies, Kittle at the top of MIA

Deebo was a great runner once caught the ball. He sucked at getting open. Terrible route runner. There’s a reason through his career outside of one massive year he’s been about an 750-850 yard receiver in this era. Injured a lot, but even when healthy it was the same thing. Can make tough catches and can run with the ball. But he sucked at getting separation.

Aiyuk was pretty good but not great.

Purdy has been throwing into tight windows from day 1. As much as LaFleur has flamed out at times, watch the Packers and the massive separation their guys get. It doesn’t even look like the same sport half the time.
