Purdy has been really good tonight. The rest of the offense, not so much.
The really disgusting thing is Purdy's not having a bad game - he's making the throws and plays that he has to make. But the defense and special teams are getting destroyed, and he can't catch his passes for his receivers.
I think if your two best receivers are Juaun Jennings and Ricky Pearsall [when not injured] you're going to have trouble.
This. They have 60 mil in cap space next season. Hopefully they try for another weapon on offense.
Or maybe sink that into the offensive line, because they are terrible too.
They need to trade for AJ Brown or take another early receiver in the draft.
This year was essentially a rebuilding year and they were decimated by injuries. Nothing to hang their heads about making the second weekend of the playoffs. They'll be a lot better next year assuming they get better luck with injuries.
This, when your best OL is going to be 38 years old next season that's an issue.
OK, ef u Brady. Brock didn't play well last week? Maybe Tom is just mad because Brock **** stomped him head to head.

The 49ers need help at:
- Linebacker
- Defensive End (were last in the nfl in sacks)
- Wide Receiver. Juan Jennings and Pearsall are not like a starting top 2 if you want to be a playoff team, not a dig at them but its the truth.
- Trent Williams successor - so get him in free agency or draft
- several offensive linemen in draft or free agency.
- Tight end as Kittle is out next year. I really like Tonges though.
Keep that cancer away. Dudes that lose their **** about their targets when the team is winning isn’t for Shanahan.
Fwiw. Trent recently said that he has "3 more years" (Beyond my paygrade).
Oline is terrible, from all angles.
Can't begin to underestimate the loss of Warner and Bosa, namely Fred.

He and Brock were an incredible combo. If I recall right, BA had 1400+ yards 2 years ago. Yeah I know, the knee injury, but aside, punky af.
