I don’t think the #2 ranking got to this teams head by any means, I do think they’ve lacked focused for weeks now though and this time it got out of hand in a hurry.

They were not ready for a wounded proud program with a hall of fame coach to make a stand

I mean, we weren't just handed that 2. The metrics all showed we were right there with the top teams. We were 16-0. We had our issues, but so does every college team at this point in the year.

This is certainly a microcosm of all our issues combined with trying to play in an incredibly different environment. The team will hopefully learn from it, improve from it, and move on.

I think what's not right is once again fans anointed them the best team since 99-00 who had two NBA guys running things and one NBAer on the bench (Shirley).

There's been a scout on tendencies and especially the interior/post shows some weakness.

There's been times they've looked like about what I would have figured with the overall team so things can even out a bit.
