Ah yes, cause the 4 game sample size of destroying us and looking dominant against an ASU or Utah is totally not misleading.
So they didn't play really good ball at that time? Just misleading so it doesn't count?
I'll write that down.

I highly doubt it but Iowa state simply has an issue where they lay huge embarrassing eggs when it matters. So the sweet 16 seems like the ceiling. The part that pisses me off is I would not be shocked if any of 8 big 12 teams make the elite 8 or FF.This team is losing in the first round. Always **** the bed when there is any expectations
Its ugly. But gotta lose sometime. This game was bound to happen based on recent slow starts against subpar teams. KU has had their struggles but they are talented, athletic and long.
We're not super athletic and guys look afraid to shoot when guarded closely.
I believe they have replay there, the announcers said several times it is a transmission issue. They can't transmit the different cameras/replay. I guess I don't know if that means they can't transmit in the arena too. I just assumed they have access to those, but somehow something is screwed up and they can't plug them into the outbound signal. No replay cameras due to ESPN technical difficulties...
So, who else can already predict a controversial replay issue going against ISU tonight?
Look at all other highlights from other major programs. They all have playmakers. We simply do not. If we aren't forcing turnovers, we aren't scoring.I highly doubt it but Iowa state simply has an issue where they lay huge embarrassing eggs when it matters. So the sweet 16 seems like the ceiling. But Iowa state….sweet 16.
We will end up a 3 seed and go on a 14 min drought and lose to a 6 seed. Unless something changes that’s my attitude.
Love the team but there is just something that isn’t right. Especially the last couple weeks.
Tough to say that out loud at 15-0
Our assist to turnover ratio is 0.3 and Kansas is 6. Holy crap that’s the biggest discrepancy I’ve ever seen.
Don't think this game will come down to a controversial call.No replay cameras due to ESPN technical difficulties...

The 2 next to our name was always smoke n mirrors, not because we can’t necessarily beat anyone but because we can also lose to a small chunk of people as well and knew it was coming on the road in conference. Let’s see what happens moving forward, still like this team but games like this expose some flaws to keep up from elite.
I mean… I’m not even sure it’s possible to drop that far. 16 games of elite data vs 1 super clunker.Gonna drop 7 spots in NET with the Off and Def. Efficiency numbers from tonight.
We're a wrestling school anywaysWell at least we have women's basketball to look forward too.
There was a collision and Lipsey hobbled for a couple trips down the floor afterwards.Lipsey does look bothered by something but also has a terrible match up out on him with a bigger guy that doesn't give up room.
Interesting.Something that’s a huge strength with TJ’s teams is they’re in shape better than everyone else to start the year. But we have struggled more as the season goes because we’re a fundamentally based group that doesn’t evolve much on scheme. When your opponent has tape and knows exactly what you’re bringing, they can plan around it. There have been obvious exceptions (Houston in B12 tourney) but many fewer “great games” deeper into the year and I think this is the main reason.
Yeah, this game can be a catalyst for growth for sure. I kind of guessed we’d go 15-3 in the league and probably lose this one. We just don’t win in AFH. No way we win 15 games playing like this, though. This second half is big to see if the guys fight or quit.I mean, we weren't just handed that 2. The metrics all showed we were right there with the top teams. We were 16-0. We had our issues, but so does every college team at this point in the year.
This is certainly a microcosm of all our issues combined with trying to play in an incredibly different environment. The team will hopefully learn from it, improve from it, and move on.
