I can understand Matt being loyal to some of his guys, but Pedo St is going to need elite athletes. They may have an easy schedule, but at some point you will likely have to play Ohio State for a big 10 championship and some other elite team in the CFP. The Iowa State transfers are good players, but not beat Ohio State kind of players.

I’m more & more convinced this wasn’t a job change…it was a retirement cash grab for Matt & his loyal followers.

He’s $80m up regardless if he lasts 8 years or 8 months.

You know they gave him full NIL discretion & he’s using it on ‘HIS GUYS’.

I expect they’ll win 8-11 games…11 of they’re lucky…and then get piss pounded in any games post season.

He is a culture builder. Hard to build that culture from scratch. Bringing over a captain makes sense.

I'm not bagging on Rocco, Hansen, Neal, and others going to Penn State. Penn State is a blue blood program and they weren't recruited by blue bloods out of high school. This is their only chance to play for a program like that is by having an "in" with the coach. I hope CMC and our former guys do well.
