Triple-Doubles: With Jefferson getting one yesterday, look at ISU History

I would have thought Monte had more than one.

Nice list.

Marc Urquhart went on to be surgeon. Kid was wicked smart.
If I recall he was on a full academic scholarship, not an athletic scholarship. On a side note, he caught me with his elbow under my eye playing pick up basketball in State Gym. While in the ER getting stitches, Lafester Rhodes came in to get checked out for an injury from the same pick up game.

I remember Royce's triple double. A&M could not keep him off the boards.

I got curious to see what points in the game Royce got to a double.

Here's play-by-play. Looks like he got his 10th point around 8-minute 2nd Half, then final two assists toward end (both to Ejim). Not sure when he reached 10 rebounds, I didn't track further back.

Royce's 10th rebound occurred with around 8:05 remaining in the first half.

Crazy how many of those were recent. We are in the good times right now.
Definitely.

I'm trying my best to do at least a little "basking." Sure, I wanna win max games and reach Final Four/Elite 8 more often than not. (Would be fun even every once in a while). But I also want to embrace what actually has occurred the past few seasons and hope it can continue.

Royce was sick that day and as I recall after securing the trip/doub Fred took him out of the game and Royce promptly found a trash can and threw up.

But, would we trade in all these triple doubles for a National Championship?? Heck yeah!
