Happy for Friendly Spartan as well.
We're supposed to hate anyone that didn't die of old age on ISU's campus.
Damn it. We need Gonzaga to drop a couple of bad ones for seeding in March. This would have been a great one.
enough time has passed and ISU is in a different place that i can really cheer on fred. i also love that it took isu basketball to bring them out of the dark ages.
I’ve never hated Fred. Never even blamed him for trying the NBA. That was his dream job. Especially the Bulls. Hope they kick the Hawks ass whenever they play.
Will be interested if voters have the balls to drop Louisville out of the top 20 after losing to Stanford tonight. They only dropped four spots after a 21 point loss to Tennessee and really haven’t beat anyone outside of Kentucky and Indiana (who are unranked).

Wild ending in the notre dame-cal ACC after dark game. Notre dame was up 3 under 10 seconds left. Cal hits a three and ref calls the and-1, but then waves it off, then the refs confer and put the foul back on. Cal hits the free throw to go up one, Notre dame gets a wild three point attempt off but misses and the Notre dame coach runs after a ref after the buzzer

I've watched them a couple times and they're legit. It's kind of weird, because I wouldn't say that they are the run and gun offenses of his time at ISU, but they're also not like some really strong defensive team either (at least I don't get that impression). They just seem really well balanced and they have some kids who can hit big shots when they're needed.
They seem to win off of high effort that opponents don’t match. Which works, but there will be lows come stretches of conference season. And we’ll see how much they have left in the tank come March.
Their kenpom DRtg is 19th. SOS isn't great at this point, so the might catch up to them. Haven't looked at their remaining games.
