For a year? He never used any of his eligibility, he’s got four full years to play, man! Sounds like a nice retirement gig.Maybe Lebron can retire from the NBA and go play at Ohio State or Duke for a year as his swan song.
Thats great, but you and about 5 other people are incessantly whining about them. Who gives a ****.Net isn't a poll, it's an analytical tool... I apologize, I thought this was the 2025-2026 Mens College Basketball thread.
Sorry dad.Thats great, but you and about 5 other people are incessantly whining about them. Who gives a ****.
We all know they probably aren't the 11th best team in college basketball and one could argue right now we dont know if they are even top 11 in the Big 10. Nobody knows. We beat them already so wouldn't it make sense to have them be good to boost our own resume?
And then I see people crying about them playing Lowell on the exact same day we play Houston Chrsitian. Welcome to college basketball, there's always a scrub game right before conference play.
And yes, you are right, this is the general college basketball thread, and not an in-state rivals thread.
You dont have to apologize, I just dont know why some of you spend so much of your mental energy on it.Sorry dad.
Yes, but he gets better Chinese take out there.Wigginton is playing in China and I'm sure he'd make more here in Ames...
To this point, players who left college can’t come back. The recent names never went to college.Wigginton is playing in China and I'm sure he'd make more here in Ames...
What about THT? What year did he leave for the NBA
To this point, players who left college can’t come back. The recent names never went to college.
Is there a specific rule that you can point to? I don't ask to disagree...I'm genuinely just curious. To this point, players who left college can’t come back. The recent names never went to college.
2nd semester eligibility starts as soon as 1st semester endsThought I saw he was available starting second semester…. That shouldn’t be for a couple weeks yet . Maybe not, I can’t find the article
Remember, Drew also spawned Tang....Drew's track record cannot be denied. He was on the forefront of cheating by paying players in the early 2010s, and now has re-invented himself paving the way for a new brand of cheating in the mid 2020s. Not many people have that kind of longevity. A true pioneer.
The five years to complete four would be first for these guys.Is there a specific rule that you can point to? I don't ask to disagree...I'm genuinely just curious.
But remember every other team would do this too.THT would absolutely dominate in college basketball.
Yeah, not saying it won’t be challenged at some point.Give me the world's worst lawyers and a day in court...99.9999999% chance players win the case.
The five years to complete four would be first for these guys.
My original point, though, was the players being recruited thus far haven’t played in college, which would include LeBron. I mean Jokic could come back at this point I guess lolexcept for LeBron![]()
