Looking at NET, Iowa's two Q2 wins are against #100 Grand Canyon and #91 Ole Miss. LOL Iowa's getting A LOT of mileage out piss pounding 7 folding chairs and a couple bad teams on a neutral court.

He got some FOX and BTN dates for this year too. He's going to call some lower level Big Ten and a bunch of Mountain West games. He's gotten pretty good.

There are always a few teams whose NET rating makes no sense. Iowa is that team this year but they are firmly in the “destroyed bad teams” sweet spot

We saw it several times with Fran's teams too but NET puts WAY too much weight on the offensive side of the game. I don't care if you beat a Q3 or Q4 team by 5 or 50, at the end of the day those are bad teams that any tournament team should handle. You shouldn't get rewarded for margin of victory our offensive efficiency numbers in those games. I've been beating this drum for several years now.

Drew's track record cannot be denied. He was on the forefront of cheating by paying players in the early 2010s, and now has re-invented himself paving the way for a new brand of cheating in the mid 2020s. Not many people have that kind of longevity. A true pioneer.
