It’s the day after Christmas and I had some time to look at the Sisters’ next opponent - the Houston Cougars.

Looks like hopefully a way to ease into the B12 away games. If we play to our standards we should get the W.
Nice write up acoustimac

I appreciate the analysis. I hope this isn't one of those games where the opponent all of a sudden learns how to shoot.

I suspect we will play the percentages again and let them shoot from the 3 as much as they want.

I would love to use the opportunity to feature Hare. My eyes were opened when I saw she is 3rd in the nation in Effective Fg%.

We will probably give them room at the 3 so I’m going to guess they shoot a bit above their season average.

We don't need to give or let them have anything. Just play all around defense with no special schemes IMHO. No sense giving a team this bad any free looks from anywhere. Contested threes are likely all they can get versus a good team.

WVU limited them to only 41 FG attempts and they had 36 TO. Maybe not unexpected versus the Mountain Mama's who pressure/press but even against a a non-pressure quality opponent like ISU they should not get much of a look from anywhere. They are 6-6 against against a crap NC slate.

The only time you give a team anything is if you have weaknesses that could be exposed.
