Still not sure how we lost that game.
Univ of Colorado Ath Dept is in major financial trouble. They took a huge gamble and put all their chips on the table to get Sanders, and that gamble has not paid off to put it mildly. I'm not optimistic they're gonna weather this storm.

Rocco started the first drive or two very well. Eskildsen dropped a sure 1st down (possibly TD) pass. He wasn't the only receiver that sucked and dropped passes. Then, Rocco sucked for most of the remainder of the game. Embarrassing loss!
Bet the University's athletic future on a snake oil salesman. Lol. Dumbasses deserve what they get. Hope you enjoyed that one season.
CU athletic department wrote a ton of checks they couldn't cash.
At least with ISU, the recruits will know where they stand and exactly what they're ACTUALLY getting. Instead of empty promises or getting stiffed. I do respect JP for that in a what is now a ridiculous wild wild west NIL landscape.
That one will stick out as the worst loss of the Campbell era for me. Even above Ohio. I think it’s because I actually had to witness that atrocity from the stands at Folsom Field.
The B12 has taken on some questionable members…people forget how bad CU has been historically.

You must be young because CU has only been bad for the last 15 years only. If you look at their all time record their winning percentage is 57 percent. They were the 3rd best team in the old big 8 most years and even won a national title in the 90’s and no I am not a fan of CU but just know big 8 and ild big 12 history
And yet they manhandled Iowa State. That loss was unforgettable.
Refs shouldn't make a big enough impact for us to a school as bad as Colorado was. That was a complete flop of a performance and coaching was horrendous in that game.

Our coaching staff assembles a turd sandwich the same weekend that Penn State fires their coach...coincidence or was someone distracted by the opportunity to check off an item on their career bucket list. If you believe the new spin, Campbell was their man from the jump.
Colorado was a different team that early in the season for what it's worth. They were still around .500 and not eliminated from anything yet. Quit hadn't settled in yet
