New Arrowhead?

The stadium upgrades were financed by a new stock sale. It was either new people buying stock or people that previously had stock buying more of it.

So your issue doesn’t really make sense here
So if I live in Green Bay and want the team to upgrade the stadium I can opt out of buying stocks and let other people pay for it. Seems pretty simple to me. The Chiefs stadium will host a hell of a lot more than just Chiefs games. If you want major concerts and things like that in your town I think everyone should chip in.

Generally yes, I agree with this. But I would rather see playoff games being played where the weather doesn't give a team a huge advantage.

When it is brutally cold, throwing the ball is much more difficult, giving bigger advantages to a team that is heavy run orientated. I prefer to watch high quality football rather than games where the winning team is the one whose style of play best fit the elements

The Bears/Packers was outside in the wind and cold. One of the best games of the year. Football should be played outdoors. Bad weather and football go together like peas and carrots.

Well that is 100% better then sticking it to the tax payers.
They should put a rule in place that you aren't allowed in the stadium without proof of your stock purchase then. Its only fair. That includes concerts or anything else that might go on there. And btw Kansas wants the Chiefs. Its the Missouri side that doesn't want to pay for upgrades and are now crying because they're likely leaving. They had their chance.

Olathe, KS is a hell of a lot nicer than where Arrowhead is now. I'd be pumped if I were Chiefs fans. Except for the dome part. I hate domes.

I guess, but it wasn’t a donation, you’re getting something for it.

And I think the owners should pay for it since they are also going to get the proceeds from all of those events

It would suck in Olathe. Put it on the opposite side of 435 from the racetrack where the old water park was. That was where they were originally wanting to build it. Keeps it in Kansas City, KS at least too.

Why? If anything they should offer dividends to stockholders. But clearly they don't need to because people are willing to pay up as is.

At this point I’m not sure they could since they are a non-profit, but someone in that line of work could answer that better than I can

I guess we have differing opinions on cold. Sub zero temps is cold. Like Seahawks-Vikings wildcard game

Slightly different geographical "leaving". Kroenke version vs Hunt. STL got screwed

But it's hard to argue this comment from the Rams....

"St. Louis lags, and will continue to lag, far behind in the economic drivers that are necessary for sustained success of an NFL franchise."

I never get people who are on the side of the billionaire holding states and cities hostage.

Its not like a lot of NFL teams with city names, dont actually play in those cities.
Dallas, San Fran, LA, Vegas, Washington, etc all play in cities other than their teams name. Soon possibly we will have the Gary Bears. LOL

Its something like 1/3 of NFL teams dont play in the city of their name. At this point they just look at the Metro area, rather than actual city proper.

I know it wasn't horribly cold, but the Packer fans sure bitched about the cold Saturday night because the Packers heaters weren't working. LOL...... I love watching games in sub zero temps.

The Bears will be at Soldier for the next 20 years. That whole thing is a mess.
