Agreed, but I’m talking apparelRocco used his NIL money for some pretty good causes
If the lawsuit gets decided, he could get another year.Allar is gone. The one who replaced him is still there.
Yeah but I’d think he’d still want to go pro. His draft stock tanked, but I could see his mindset being a lot like Ewers last yearIf the lawsuit gets decided, he could get another year.
Yeah, now a days you can get 10 years in college it seems. Student is now an occupation and not a temporary status. If the lawsuit gets decided, he could get another year.
That kid was an All American. Sophomore next year. Came on very strong in the last three games. Better raw skills than Rocco, but nowhere near the experience. PSU fans welcome the QB battle between the two.Allar is gone. The one who replaced him is still there.
New staff, coming off surgery and not likely an NFL guy. This all makes sense for Rocco to pick his best landing spot and probably make a decent salary for the year. Not a smart move on his part but I hope it works out for him. If it’s just about money then it makes sense. I figured all season this would be his last in Ames regardless. There’s talent behind him and we’re probably not going to have a big drop off in coaching.
McAfee and his crew on Gameday talking about it like its a huge deal when there will be much more talented players in the portal.well Rocco not a ggod move for you ,you are a average QB
This is a hit to his legacy, no way it’s not. He could have been a legend if he would have stuck around and led this team to a bowl game and was the bridge to the next coaching staff. He is just another guy now. I’ll take Sage over him.He already is. Rescued us from the gambler. Had so many games that he willed us to victory.
Imagine the gut punch had he transferred the last year or this year without a coaching change. This isn't the same feeling as that at all, yet that could have been likely and probably will happen to some future great QB.
Rocco will always be one of the greatest Cyclones and he did a lot for the community too outside of playing. He had a rough stretch this year but remember there were games were people thought Purdy should have been benched.
I’m no scout but watching Mateer and Simpson last night I didn’t come away crazy impressed.Unless he ends up at Penn State with Campbell, he’ll end up making a lateral move. There is a lot of talented QBs in the portal already, and he won’t be at the top of that list. Best of luck to him.
