One week ago, my family and I embarked on a journey to State College as we made the decision to become Nittany Lions, and we will forever be grateful to have had the opportunity to do so. At the same time, we made the decision because of what we believed Penn State could become — and it was the honor of a lifetime to be a part of the Penn State program as those beliefs became reality.
The hardest decision Erica and I have ever had to make was the one we made today, as we chose to accept the head coaching position at the University of Michigan. What Penn State means to our family extends far beyond a football program. We will always look back at our time in State College with the fondest of memories for allowing our family to learn, grow, and find our way… together. As hard as it was to make the decision, I rest easy knowing the future of Penn State has never been brighter. Under the leadership of the administration and athletic department, Penn State is positioned to continue to achieve success in all ways, on and off the field.

He was never their long term choice. They just made him the coach for continuity and to keep the players/recruits.
Thinking about it, they probably set the trap/cameras/recording devices themselves. Joking/not joking.

Michigan's AD looked up Pollard and saw his otz and campbell hires. Then he somehow orchestrates campbell to psu, just so he can see who pollard hires. Then, boom fires moore and scoops up rogers from us.

Lot easier replacing a coach fired for cause than one fired for job performance.
Dude, I don’t know. Michigan may want to hire jimmy rogers cuz they liked his opening press conference.It's so nice to not have to go into panic mode anymore when a head coaching vacancy is announced.
If Campbell had ultimately made an 11th hour decision to stay at ISU this would have been a brutal jump scare.
Someone call Josh Pate so he can start the Campbell to UM rumors.
