Are you serious with that?

Batemon and Banks dont even play anywhere close to the same position or are similar players.

Yes, im dead serious that both Manawa and Banks would get rotation minutes over Pleta, they are both the exact type of player TJ loves. I've watched them in person about 10 times last year. Where did I say they should start or steal minutes from Jefferson or Blake?

I don’t see ISU winning by less than 6. They’ll either come out super flat, get frustrated and lose or they’re winning by double figures. I just don’t see this Iowa team keeping it close throughout unless they are able to completely take ISU out of their game and play that slow game and get ISU out of their rhythm. And if they do that, I think they win.

Koch is a poor man’s Milan. He will take some minutes from Milan

He's improving and I think he'll be a big piece for us going forward, but worth noting Pleta's currently averaging all of 9.4 minutes/game.

The talent gap is just so big. They don’t have anyone who would play for us but Stirtz.

It feels a little different this year vs Iowa. Previous years it was essentially get through the first 10 min where they hit a flurry of three’s hoping you don’t go 0’fer at the same time.

This year seems more of a grind it out game. They pressure the ball beyond the 3point line and are pretty physical. We need to get the ball into the paint and force those mismatches early.

We play 3 forwards in our rotation. Manawa would need to take minutes from one of those three to see the floor. If you think he’d take minutes from Pleta, I guess that’s your opinion but we’d disagree on that. Pleta is exactly the player we need to spell either Jefferson or Buchanan. And I don’t see adding another body to the rotation as we’re just fine having a 4th guard out there with Milan playing the 4.

Banks is not big enough to play the forward position in a 3 guard set. So he’d be taking time from a guard. Which of ISU’s guards are you taking that time from?

If the point spread is like -10 as a neutral bettor I would bet Iowa all day on that. I think ISU has a90% chance of winning but I think Iowa will get some Top 25 wins this year.

I don't think he will. Heise and Nelson are almost on the opposite of the spectrum of a bball player. Heise impacts the game without the ball and Nelson is ball dominate.
