Assistant Coaches

Many of his staff at Washington was staff that was with him at SDSU. I would happy if the special team coordinator comes and he can keep some of the current staff especially Heacock and Clanton.
Since I missed the whole damn coaching search process, I'm eagerly awaiting news of how he's going to fill out his staff. There are definitely current guys who are worthy if they don't follow Campbell.

I bet Heacock retires but if I were Jimmy I’d be calling up Broomfield offering him the DC spot ASAP. That way we can retain a few of our studs on D. I’d like to see clanton stay as well. Not fond of this hire but if he does that we can at least have a starting point.

It sounds like he'll bring most of the defensive staff. It sounds like no one at WSU or SDSU liked the offensive staff, so let's hope there is some new people there.

I highly doubt any of the Campbell staff stays, they'll go with their friends and a lot of their players to Penn State. But maybe they'll listen to this guy.

Retain Clanton, Broom, maybe even Pauley.

Keep Rocco and Marcus Neal. If CJR can do even half of this, I’ll feel a tiny bit better about the hire

I expect Heacock to retire, but the analyst thing wouldn’t surprise me. He’ll be back closer to home as well, still in the game but in a role with a LOT less stress and time commitment.

I have heard from a student athlete that Rocco is gone. This is merely rumor and I can't confirm in any fashion this rumor. Just what I heard today.

I'd love for a former Cyclone like Broomfield remain a Clone. But coaches like coaches who they know and have experience in their system. Campbell is a prime example of that. Other than a few external hires in the last few years, he tended to promote within.

Rogers history is as a defensive coach, so it doesn't surprise of media reports he is bringing most of his defensive staff from WSU who were also on his staff at SDSU.

This is almost no chance either of those two stay - like MAYBE 1% chance they'd stay
