Nobody is preaching anything other than "Don't be an asshat". The guy took us places most of us never thought possible. Be angry. Be pissed. That doesn't mean we have to act like classless **** sticks too.

But will the players buy into his philosophies? As an underdog it works as motivation. As a top dog in talent will they respond the same way. It will be interesting to watch.

By the time they meet him, they won’t have much of a chance to see how blue collar his is by the time the portal is rolling. So there is high probability that they stick there for at least a year.

4 star recruits won’t buy into CMC’s ridiculous philosophies. Focus on details blah blah. Such stupid coach-speak. He’ll need to change his ways to succeed at Penn St.

Is this really where we are? Dude gave us 10 seasons of quality football, 2 CCG appearances and a Fiesta Bowl win. I'd take that over what we had basically forever before him. Sitting in the stands while Texas blasts us 55-3 is alot less fun.

I'll always contend alot of his success was because the Big 12 went waaaaay down in quality. The teams he's fielded weren't winning 8 games during the Big 12 of the CPR era. It used to be that WVU, Baylor, Okla State, and K-State were Top 10 caliber teams. Hell, even Kansas had a run in there. Then you add in Oklahoma and Texas most years as well.

Trying to compare records/results from this Big 12 to the Big 12 of 15 years ago is impossible.
