Worst part of this is, you know they will get hot and put together a 6 or 7 game stretch where they are unbeatable and beat a some Big 12 teams, and drag the whole conference down in doing so.

Yeah, his buyout is pretty steep: over 18 million this year, and drops 3 million every year. By comparison, TJ's buyout is 4 million.

SOMEWHAT off topic....but we are very fortunate that Matt and TJ don't "play the game" in terms of how many other coaches do in terms of leveraging their best interests over everything else.

Truly, TJ giving us the "friends and family" discount when he arrived...we got lucky....he could totally command more/excessive buyout, but he didn't.

I miss Weber. Maybe the most memeable coach ever and he was mediocre. Overall seemed like a nice guy though.

Yeah, he grew on me. It did seem while kinda goofy sometimes, genuinely a decent person and their fans got antsy with him.

I had a 247 account at the time and the stuff on their board was looney tunes. It wasn't just random posters either, it was 247 staff that were leading the charge. There were pictures posted of the stands and they circled where they thought the cheater was sitting. It was wild stuff. I can't believe that rose to the level of a national news story. I don't think I've ever seen TJ more pissed than when he had to address that BS after the KU game. Their media is a bunch of lunatics. I guess that Fitz guy seems fine, but the rest seem like real a-holes IMO.

He was holding a presser near the end of his tenure and his hair was quite long, a reporter asked about it and Bruce said he was growing it out until the FBI investigation into KU was completed
