***2026 Minnesota Vikings***

I said that ten seconds after the pick was announced.
You and another poster or two have been dead on from the beginning on JJM. I was skeptical and wanted Nix at tha spot instead, but I thought KOC could make it work

Anyone wondering about KOC’s offense?
I know our QB’s aren’t good but everyone on offense looks bad.

The offense position by position:

QB: Maybe the worst room in the league
RB: Jones always dinged up, Mason average
WR: Two elite talents who seem genuinely surprised when they have the chance to catch a ball, leading to some untimely drops
TE: Hock has been alright, but not sure he’s worth what he’s presently being paid
OL: Can’t stay healthy

Other than that, things are rosy.

You have to go after another starting QB because the only thing JJ has proved since coming into the league is that he can’t go more than a few games without getting hurt. His health is a major liability. You can’t waste Jefferson hoping McCarthy not only learns how to get better, but can stay on the field.

I haven't seen much of today's game but why have they only run the ball 10 times? Given the QB situation, wouldn't you want to try to establish the run?

One positive from today: defense played well for the most part. Turner has had a couple nice games lately. He seems to have figured it out

MIN options now are either sell their defense to buy an expensive QB, or sell the offense for picks and start it all over. That's about it.

If KOC is really the QB whisperer he might want to start yelling.

JJM is a total bust. No idea what they saw in him. Totally wasting great WR talent.

Doubt Niners give up Purdy. And Vikings aren’t going to give up Jefferson willingly
They shouldn't give him up for anything less than a massive draft haul of multiple firsts.

If you sell Jefferson, you might as well sell the rest of the team with him. Go all in for tank commanding for 2 seasons or so at that point.

McCarthy was the last effort for Jefferson. Incredible, expected failure. This is a total gut job. It’s a miracle if Jefferson waits until after the season to publicly state he wants out.

I have to put the blame for this mess squarely on the shoulders of KOC. He wanted to go into the season with a QB that had never taken a meaningful snap.
Absolutely agree. JJM was his hand picked guy. And he had the final say in not making sure Jones or Darnold resigned. It is an unmitigated disaster. This stuff gets coaches and GMs fired. I expect that will happen with these two as well.
