Yormark just bombed ND!!!!

ND best wins- at Pitt, USC at home, at Arkansas
Texas best wins - A&M, OU, Vandy (by 3)
A&M best wins - ND, LSU, Mizzou

I mean, none of those really impress me very much. I'd still rank A&M top for sure of those 3, though, because they won 11 games. At some point, winning games has to matter, right?

WRT BYU- there are three 2-loss teams above them - Bama, OU, ND.
BYU best wins- UU, AZ, ISU or TCU or CIN?
Bama best wins - GA, Vandy, Tenn, Mizzou
OU best wins - Mich, Bama, Tenn, Mizzou

I can live with OU and Bama being above BYU I think - they do have better wins, even with the additional loss. But ND does NOT have better wins than BYU; Tech is a better loss than both of ND's losses; and ND has TWO losses. BYU should def be above ND.

The committee has said teams shouldnt be penalized for playing the championship game.

Also, it seems like if your only loss is to the conference champion, losing again to the conference champion should be basically treated as one loss.
That’s a fluid statement by the committee to fit whatever narrative they want. Big 12 will always be screwed unless we have a team make a run. Just wish ASU had held on last yesr. .

Without Bowlsby there wouldn't be a conference to promote so...
Are you going with the contract Neinas handed him to sign when he started or when the ADs forced him to interview G6s so they had options for when OuT happened and Bowlsby had no idea anything was happening?

To paraphrase,..."when you compare what ND did this season compared to what BYU and Utah have done, it is not even close. They belong in the CFP."

Well done commish.

ND needs a loss added when compared to any ccg loser.

Texas' wins don't impress you much? 2 top 10 wins and a top 15 win. You'd be hard pressed to find a team with 3 better wins. Of course that loss to Florida will likely keep them out.

BYU doesn't have a better loss than ND. Margin of defeat matters. I think you could make a pretty good case that tech is better than A&M but they're not so much better to excuse losing by 3 scores vs losing by 1 point.

If Auburn happens to beat Alabama and Michigan happens to beat Ohio State, the committee will be sh!itting themselves.

Do Alabama and Texas, both with three losses in that scenario, deserve to be in the playoffs over a 2 loss Michigan? A two loss BYU? A two loss Texas Tech (in the case they lose to BYU in the title game). I don't think Alabama or Texas would deserve to sniff the playoffs with three losses, but we know one would get in.

Please for the love of all that is right and holy make this happen.

ND’s CCG loss hurts them.

Oh wait it can’t!

They need to be tagged with a 3rd loss when compared to any ccg loser.

I think Michigan winning makes it easier on the committee, Michigan would be in in this scenario.

Alabama losing and Michigan losing brings in an interesting discussion between Miami, Texas, and BYU for the final spot

Yeah but BYU would need to beat TT in the Championship. If BYU Loses to Tech again they don't deserve to be in/
So who should be in instead??? Alabama, Texas,......Do not deserve it over BYU. I could mention Vandy, Miami but we all know they aren't getting picked. It will be one of the blue bloods.

Or other teams get to eliminate a loss when compared to them.

The CFP committee doesn't give a **** what the Big 12 commissioner says.
I'd say they did when the Baylor AD was the committee's chair. Unfortunately, that guy stepped down because of some kind of scandal in Waco. Imagine that, a scandal at Baylor.

ND gets passed by BYU. 13th data point and what not.
