Is Gabe Burkle's injury known? I'm guessing knee ligament and out for season, but curious if anything is known.

I don't have any actual update, other than I've adopted the theory they are all not hurt and not going to play so that I'm pleasantly surprised when we can put a team on the field.
Generally the first opportunity for any injury update is the presser on Tuesdays.

Which would be this afternoon. Assuming there’s one on a bye week.

Wide Right has continued to run an Onion-esque joke each week that Campbell declared the entire team questionable. Unfortunately, I think they cursed us because it feels like we are truly questionable related to injuries every week.

Some of these injuries seem to pop up out of nowhere. Guys will play most of the game and then they pop up on the injury report as questionable/doubtful.

When Burkle's injury happened, I immediately assumed he is done for the season. It was a very reckless tackle in my opinion, no different than an illegal chop block. Burkle was engaged high and the other defender went straight for his knee.

at this point, I just hope he is able to be back healthy for the start of next season.

By this point of the season, anyone that is playing significant snaps is hurt/injured. Its just a matter of to what degree. When I was in college I sat next to a starting offensive guard and a defensive tackle in a morning MWF fall semester class. It always amazed me how every Mondays they looked like the walking dead with one or more injuries each, then on Wednesday they were moving better but still didn't look great, and by Friday they looked ready to go again. This happened week after week.

And now you know why NFL players hate playing on Thursday night after playing on Sunday.

I heard on the Murph and Andy podcast it was a bruised lung (didn't know that's an injury) when released from Mary Grealey.
