KU FB Game (11/22) 11:00 am Kickoff on FS1

Seems like a lot of Big 12 games getting the "six day pick," particularly among teams that are out of contention for the Big 12 Championship. Is this like the network's version of the "use it or lose it" timeout?

Iirc a conference gets 3 game weeks to use the 6 day hold option. This is the big 12s second time using said option this season

Can someone smarter than me discern the time slots in play and figure out what the likely gametime will be? A night game would be very inconvenient

Hoo boy. That is a lot of late slots open.

Here is Matt's blog predictions:

11am FS1: Kansas at Iowa State
3pm FOX: TCU at Houston
6pm ESPN: BYU at Cincinnati
6pm TNT: Arizona State at Colorado
6:30pm ESPN2: Baylor at Arizona
7pm FOX: Kansas State at Utah

My guess would be that 11am or the 6/6:30 TNT and ESPN2 slots.

I wonder what order those 3 pick in

I wonder what order those 3 pick in
I believe FOX and ESPN/ABC alternate having the first pick every week then alternate picks for that week. ESPN/ABC had the first pick this last week so in two weeks they will have the first pick again. So in this prediction the order would be:

ESPN #1: BYU v Cin
Fox #2: Kansas St v Utah
ESPN #3 : Baylor v Arizona
Fox #4: TCU v Houston
ESPN #5 (TNT): Arizona St v Colorado
Fox #6: Kansas V Iowa St
ESPN #7: OSU v UCF

Does anybody know what each school’s average TV viewership has been so far? I remember seeing that somebody posted it after like week three or so

I also wondered if TNT had done a Deion game yet. They will want to if they haven't

I love that every game is on TV now, but man, early afternoon games every weekend would just be perfect.

* Since TruTV usually simulcasts the Big 12 games, I have a feeling the TNT Big 12 game will be a primetime game as TruTV has Big East men's basketball from 2-6pm ET. I am aware that listings for the game currently don't have a TruTV simulcast and list the football game on TNT at 12pm ET.
