Sacred Heart is one of the worst teams in the Metro Atlantic Athletics Conference (12th place last year). NET 294 last year, that's a 100 worse than Southern or St. Thomas. This game will be another rout.

SCOUTING SACRED HEART
The Pioneers enter Sunday in search of their first win of the season in what is the first regular season game against a ranked opponent since December 29, 2018 (L, 43-71 @ Kentucky). Entering their second game of the season, Sacred Heart continues to rely on its leading returning scorer from last season in senior Amelia Wood who finished the season opener against NJIT with a team-high 16 points. Esther Kursite followed her in the scoring column as she came off the bench to match her season-high of 11 points against the Highlanders. Sacred Heart will need to clean things up a bit after its opening game where they committed 14 turnovers, while also looking for different shooting lanes to avoid a large inside presence as the Cyclones enjoy a 6-3 center and a 6-2 post player in the starting five. - sacredheartpioneers.com

Expect lots of playing time for the bench. I’m not quite sure how I’ll do a TSS writeup on this one!
 
Eight Big 12 teams play today. I see no real competition in any of the matches. Cream Puffs indeed. Perhaps the Oral Roberts (2-0) vs OSU will be the best one. Then again ORU has beaten Haskell and Friends University. Where the heck and who the heck is Friends University ??

Friends in low places? Friends are friends forever? Why can’t we be friends? Some song lyric has to be associated with them somehow!
 
Used to really be “Friends University of Central Kansas” when I was working at Wichita State back in the day!!!
 
Offense humming- great to see shots falling even against a team like this.

Side note- Glad Addy got to see some time on the bench after that pathetic attempt to grab a ball that she dribbled off her foot. Nobody is above making a hustle play

Nitpicking today but I wish we would pass the ball more. Dribble and more dribbling. Good things happen when you pass the ball from side to side. The Fennelly offense.

Both her and Audi have had some time with their thoughts after not making hustle plays
 
That was fun. I know Sacred Heart isn’t a strong team, but our bench would have rolled them if given the starting nod! Allysa and Lily T played well, as did Reagan and Freya. This team is loaded.
