They played their freakin hearts out. Gave the O chance after chance which kept points off the board for TCU. With all the loss of players this year you are absolutely right that these young men need to be given kudos. Great night to be a Cyclone

Heacock is a wizard and those defensive players are just incredible how deep they can dig. I honestly don't know how ISU is even fielding a Big XII defense with that injury report. Just amazing to watch!
IDK how…. With all the injuries and 2nd 3rd teamers playing today ….But I thought the secondary played balls out TOUGH today…. Int … force fumble n recovery… knock away balls.

Heacock is the best and we don't deserve him.
But the scheme!
Kooper Ebel has really improved and played great today. Dom is a stud. Our run defense was great. I was concerned that the backup safeties weren’t ready, but they played great for the most part. The CBs were really good too and Bell made several game changing plays. Flora seized the moment. The offense line, Hansen, and Sama were really good. The bootleg by Rocco won this game. Green’s catch was clutch. So happy we won.
Josh Patterson has a bright future and had no idea he could be this good this early. And Tre Bell? Wow what a hell of a player. These two make plays

The defense doesn't always feel like it is doing its job when you are watching the game, but you can't argue with the 17 point result.
What the D needs more than anything, besides a cessation to the endless stream of injuries, is an offense that can keep some drives going. TCU ran 80 plays to our 65, which is about like asking your D to play 5 quarters of football to win the game.
Kudos to the D, ST, and the run game offense. Passing offense? Yeah, still a bit of a sore point.

The Professor. You just can never count out the defense.
Injuries. 3rd and long disasters. Months without a qb hurry. Linebackers that a run a 6.7 forty. DBs playing 18 yards off the LoS.
Yet somehow they only give up 20ish points and you have a chance.
You just cant doubt the man, and if you do, step back and reconsider.

I had to really look at the roster to see some of these names who made big contributions today. Well done men!
Tre Bell had the play of the day after taking a tough assignment, major kudos to keep with it to the end.
