Haven't been to KSU, but I've been to the Fogg. Probably the most damned uncomfortable game I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot of venues. The fans are very engaged - the "Rock Chalk JayHawk KU is very haunting as it reverberates in the rafters after the win. They did a "decible check" a couple of times in the game...during time outs. Everyone around us screamed at the top of their lungs to move the needle. Yeah, it's loud. ..but that's because nearly everything is metal or concrete. Including the seating. Won't be going back.
This is cute, first you say all 70,000 fans never sit in a game.
Then you move the goal post and say well in said section in the 100 level never sit...
Then you move it further saying well during certain games like the playoffs in certain 100 level sections never sit.
Then you go back to not one of the 70K fans ever sits again.

I can say there are sections in JTS that never sit too, the ones full of drunk, young students, whos bodies havent worn out on them yet for one.
I also can admit I havent been to a lot of games in a lot of places, but I have been to multiple NFL stadiums and games, and Multiple NCAA stadiums and games, and every one fans stood some and sat some, outside certain sections like the students etc. I have also been to other sports, NCAA BB, NBA, NHL, MLB, etc not one did the entire venue stand the entire game. I have been to concerts, that sure the entire floor stood, but none of the people in the stands stood.
Trying to claim that no one ever sits in Arrowhead is ridiculous. Hell there was a story, that just came out in the last couple weeks about fans getting kicked out of Arrowhead for "Excessive Standing". So obviously standing the entire game is frowned upon even in the hallowed Arrowhead.

Arrowhead Stadium does have a fan code of conduct, and it includes several clauses that staff might interpret broadly. That includes “behavior that is unruly, disruptive, threatening, or illegal,” intoxication, or “interference with the progress of the event.”
But there’s also a specific clause that says fans must not “unreasonably obstruct the view of other guests.”
On Reddit, one user said they were actually arrested at an NFL game for “excessive standing.” They said they refused to sit after repeated warnings and were cited for general public disturbance.
Another Redditor said a fan near them also got kicked out for standing too much during a game, even though they thought standing at key moments was fine.

Christ, you are agreeing with, and arguing for, a jackass that says he is an ISU fan yet called us Little Brother, and refers to Home games as "in Ames", like every other hawk troll on the internet does.
What exactly is the point of posting this? If you have an inferiority complex about your alma mater (assuming your an actual ISU grad), that's on you.
I've been to lots of different stadiums college and pro, and JTS has a good/great atmosphere depending on the opponent, how close the game is, current team performance, etc. All of which affect crowd enthusiasm at every single stadium known to man.
I love how some think team performance doesn't/shouldn't affect crowd noise. It does at every school. Beaver Stadium is a tomb right now with the current PSU team. I was at Mich Stadium for a home loss where they played like crap and the fans sat the whole game with very little cheering at all. I've also been there when they played well and won vs a good opponent and it was a great atmosphere.
And Kinnick isn't as loud as you make it out to be. It's also a crappy atmosphere when Iowa's not playing well, or in a game where the score's like 6-3, which happened frequently last season.
Okie St's stands are closer to the field than probably any other stadium in college football. So using your logic, that must be the loudest stadium with the best atmosphere. But it's not of course. So your little diagrams are pretty pointless, sorry.

For the record the only time I’ve ever seen a crowd stand the entire game was the 2002 Iowa State/OU game. I was there and it still stands out in my mind especially due to the uhhh… quality of the game and I’ll say no more about that.
I do think Kinnick is a little better atmosphere, but it has nothing to do with fan passion or behavior, and more to do with the fact that Iowa has a larger fanbase/stadium, and said stadium is built to hold sound on the field. I also prefer the architecture.
But overall game day ISU is right there and ISU fans regularly create elite atmospheres. BYU was false starting like crazy because of how loud it was.

For the most part people have traditionally stood at Arrowhead Stadium. Particularly in the 100 level. You are really reaching if you think I'm saying not 1 single person out of 70k sits down. Yeah they are the ones always ******** because they can't see. Apparently there have been some rule changes or they are enforcing some rules this year? I'm only telling you what I've seen in 40 years of going to games there. Not sure why you are so butthurt about this. I know nobody who doesn't have a dog in the fight that would tell you JTS is a better atmosphere than Kinnick Stadium. Sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade. Yeah it's the way it's setup. You feel like you are on top of the teams and truly feel like you can make a difference in the game. If the upper decks at JTS were steeper I think it would be one of the tougher places to play in the country. We do have disappointing crowds a lot of the time though. You can always count on JTS being lit up for Iowa and usually the big conference game played at night. Other than that it's somewhat underwhelming. Where was the crowd Saturday? I didn't particularly think it sounded that great against BYU either. I do think out student section is one of the more underrated in America.
What if I told you that not every single issue needs to be a pissing match between the two programs?

Pretty damn good for a low population, rural state. There are plenty of Saturdays where we see 140,000+ people at Division I football games in the state, that's damn near 5% of the state's population supporting state schools. I can't imagine there's a much higher percentage anywhere.

The stadium was full at kick off. Weather was awful and so was the performance. People left and I don’t blame them.
BYU was full throttle until the bed wetting was complete.
Basically all you’re saying is Jack Trice isn’t that into it for random non-cons. You ever been to Kinnick for a buy game? I have. It’s way less intense than ISU or a good Big 10 team.
The weather was bad so our fans cut out? JFC we were in the game until the end. You're kind of making my point. Yes I've seen Kinnick Stadium be dismal at times though.

I don't agree with the "little brother" assessment at all. I think that's total b.s., but good god dude we have posts all the time from ISU fans criticizing our crowds for big conference games. Other than the "little brother" bs he's pretty spot on. Iowa generally has to be in the dumps pretty bad before people quit showing up there or quit cheering. I seriously think some of it is just in our DNA from being lifelong ISU fans in that other than Iowa and Nebraska when they were in the conference that football is kind of "meh". We are the more loyal and close knit fanbase. Honestly most of my Iowa fans would agree.

Where are the UNI fans at the dome? At least we show up for a quarter or 2 before taking off. The UNI dome has the potential to be the loudest place in Iowa. My sister went and watched my cousin play for NDSU a few years ago and said that dome up there is the loudest venue she's ever been at. She's a Chiefs season ticket holder too.
