What a fantastic venue, atmosphere and fanbase you have. Your team is physical and well coached. When you took us to the woodshed a couple of years ago, Coach Kalani said that your program is what he wanted to emulate. The first quarter your guys punched us in the mouth and we were rattled. Your team was much more physical than what we had faced so far this year. It came down to the punt turnover and the pick six. I don't want to say we were lucky, but we were fortunate. Anyway, it is such a pleasure to be in a conference with teams and fanbases who care, who are passionate, and who support their team. Just felt like I needed to stop by to say thank you. Hoping to get to a game at Hilton, but it will have to be next year.

I love sharing a conference with BYU. Both at last years men’s basketball game and the game this past Saturday having a large showing from the opponent (with the exception of those jerks out East) is a lot of fun.

I happened to sit around a lot BYU fans and they asked great questions and were beyond respectful throughout the whole game and were humble in victory.

I didnt go to the FB game but I agree with the BB mention.
The BYU fans were generally great that I interacted with.

I was surprised how many BYU fans showed up at the game. I didn't see a single one at the bars Friday night!

Oh yeah and your equipment guys can **** right off for starting load out with 7 minutes left in the game.

That is a beautiful shade of blue. Love the understated unis. Anyone see KU play Saturday? Their unis look clownish.

Thanks, you guys are a great addition to the conference. Great fans. I couldn't believe how many showed up in Kansas City last year.

I guess I missed all of this. Can someone summarize what happened?
The first ball that BYU kicked and missed the net got thrown into the student section, who then threw it over the top wall. It happened again later in the game, but a BYU ball boy climbed the wall into the stands behind the net and when the ball missed the net again, a fan grabbed it, and the ball boy proceeded to tackle the person with the ball quite aggressively. Luckily, the ball slipped away and was thrown to the student section and was deservingly tossed from the stadium again.

After that, the stadium was booing the ball boy as he took the walk of shame back down the steps. There were two troopers waiting at the bottom of the wall, looking like they wanted to talk to him about the act of aggression he committed against the fan, but they let him walk past. The stadium started booing again after seeing that, and the student section started chanting "**** the ball boy".

The KC area has a lot of Mormons, so I was not shocked to see them.

Awesome summary. I was on the west side of the stadium and couldn't quite make out the chant.

When i saw that i was then more curious what happened to the actual ball that goes over the top...some random person gets hit on the head? They grab it and go? LOL

Next level would be putting a student out there on the concourse ready to snag after it's tossed and then punting it into the parking lot. LOL

Looks like it would take a 100' toss to get it out of the secure area (past security). The direction I saw the one get thrown would take a bit more, 156'. Even with the elevation drop that would be a toss. Either way they hopefully land in a safe area.
