*** 2025 Week 9 (Oct. 21-Oct. 25) CFB Games Thread ***

KU losing to Purple Kansas is as sure of a thing as there is in college football.

Gonna be what 17 in a row?

Indiana's last 6 games include only 1 game against a team with a winning record. That's their next game against 4-3 Maryland.

The Hoosiers are going to roll to 12-0. They are good, but we won't know how good until they play in B10 championship game.
So you're not impressed by that Oregon W in Autzen Stadium?

And, no... Iowa, Illinois, Oregon equals 3 teams with winning records including two that are currently ranked.

It's just look at me dumb BS

I just can't wrap my head around not getting that ball clearly across the goal, tightly secured well into the end zone first.

Plenty of 'look at me' stuff to do after that.

Yeah, Indiana might have a Charmin-soft schedule overall, but they did something most Big 10 teams don't do - travel to the West Coast and win a game - and at Oregon, no less. With that one win they earned their cakewalk to 12-0 IMO.

The Oregon win was very impressive. I should have said Indiana won't be tested at all in the the back half of their schedule, They might get smacked around a bit if they go up against Ohio State.

Sagarin has their SoS at #49. Not a meatgrinder but far from Charmin soft.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Day screw that up.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see PSU pull of the upset in Happy Valley over Indiana. I have no idea why, it's just something I can see happening.

Yep, every team can have a day on either side of the spectrum od good or bad and if it's at the same time anything can happen.
