Beer sales at JTS after all?

What if it wasn't JP all along and as soon as Wendy retires we're running beer bongs down from the upper deck?
Isnt part of the no beer sales, that they use it as a perk for the club sections? I know there are other reasons, but I thought that was part of the idea behind the clubs too.
JP has mentioned that specifically when discussing alcohol sales at athletic events.
The new perk is that the club lines are shorter. The steerage will have the long lines.
Pure speculation but I suspect that the waiting list for purchasing sky box, and other seating choices that include availability of alcohol would explain JP’s reluctance to open up beer sales in the rest of the stadium. I’ve sat in end zone seats at NFL stadiums and they are not my choice, SUKUP may be a tough sale without the privilege of a beer perk while the majority sneak it in or run to the parking lot.
Just pop a gummy an hour before the game while tailgating, LFG.
Used to be when I bought a beer at a professional sporting events, I thought they priced the single beer at what a retail 6-pack cost. Lately it seems they are pricing it compared to a 12-pack.
Just as important and maybe more important for the very early season and very late season games is the ability to watch in your seat but also to get out of the elements and watch. I know people whose only driver for going to the SEZ seats is the ability to avoid the ridiculously heat for AUG/SEP games and the bone numbing cold for NOV games
I agree. They were selling a lot of 16 oz craft beer cans at the places we went this summer. The Cleveland Guardians had a deal though on the evening we went to a game this summer. 12 ounce cans of Miller Lite were $1 until the first pitch.
I live in Minny.... I can drink in all temperatures weather. I don't need no stinking SEZ seats. Bring on the elements!
Maverik now, ha. I used to think Kum & Go was everywhere. Now they are, or soon will be, nowhere. Maverik, owned by FJ Management, bought Kum & Go in 2023 and expect all K & G stores to complete the 'rebranding' by 2025.
Question is, will Maverik be any better than Kum & Go?
So do I and I have on more than one occasion had my beer freeze up on me making it difficult to drink.
I'm not part of that SEZ group, I'm just saying that access to alcohol isn't the only thing driving people to SEZ seats. Many (especially fans who are getting older) just don't want to sit out in the extreme heat or cold to watch a game. The SEZ gives them a way to still come to games and not have to brave the elements.
Some were sold off to Mega Mart or something like that so not all Kum and Go locations will be Maverick - most, but not all.
The bongs work in the other direction toward the upper deck in Colorado.
