Just a huge middle finger to the 10,000 Cyclone fans that were there today. That is the worst second half team in America and they just walked all over you. Un freaking believable how you play the exact same game that got you beat a week ago.

I was surprised at the crowd noise during the plays when ISU did well. Good for you all for traveling. Maybe we just view ISU football as amusing entertainment with occasional bright spots going forward. That's our ceiling. Hope MBB makes a final 4 which I think is realistic. It is what it is.

Again, whether the ball was catchable or not does not matter, in this case. We see game after game where PI is called when the guy they called it on was not getting the ball thrown his way. If it had occurred away from the ball, it's still defensive holding or pass interference.
I love how we're arguing about how we got screwed on a play where our QB threw a horrible pass WAY short of our receiver and right to the opposing player for an easy INT. We didn't deserve to be bailed out on that play. No way in hell was Brahmer going to be able to get back to make any kind of play on that ball.

The old saying two things can be true....it was a horrible call and the throw didn't help. It's inexcusable call, but also a horrific throw.
My takeaways
- First quarter was a disaster offensively. So many wasted opportunities.
- Rocco wasn't good today, was inaccurate and dropped the snap on a critical down.
- Play calling and game management was atrocious in the 4th quarter.

DON'T QUESTION THE SC COORDINATOR HIRE. It's blasphemy on here. Hire Andrews after Notre Dame abuses us like a rented donkey. Dump Andrews after pressure mounted.
Most on that is on the pass catchers.
Some of that is on the pass catchers not knowing where the ball may be located.
Inconsistent is separate from inaccurate.
if it makes people feel better to say we got screwed... go for it! not me. I realize this was two below average teams on the field today playing terrible football. nothing to be excited about after that game... win or lose.. for either team.
now... I don't think ISU is necessarily a below average team in talent... but with the coaching and all the mentally stupid mistakes that we constantly make... we were a very below average team today that had no business winning a football game. we played non-winning football all day long.
