*** Official #22 IOWA STATE vs Colorado Game(Day) Thread ***

Well a fire sale on tickets for the rest of our remaining home games complete offensively **** the sheets

I don't think that Mouser has been the problem today. Execution across the board for the offense, and then that 4th down call. You can bet going on 4th was CMC call.

I don't hate the go for it call. Hard to not have more faith in the offense than the defense. Doesn't excuse the terrible play call.

We ran the ball at the CU 4 with 11 men in the box.

We handed the ball to Sama there in shotgun with pretty similar defensive alignment.

I really have to question Mouser after his play calls this quarter.
That was a horrific call

What a horribly designed play on that 4th and 1. Send a TE in motion to do nothing, but snap it right as he’s crossing the point of attack. Just drawing in a defender for a motion guy to just be there not running a route or blocking. Just terrible offense. Unless Rocco snapped it too early that was a horrible play.

What spot are people complaining about? It didn't look like Sama got the first and Brahmer was definitely short even if that spot wasn't generous.

1. there's a big difference between 4th and 1/2 yard and 4th and 1 1/2 yard, especially when you're going for it that deep in your territory

2. that when you have seen for the last 3+ quarters the OL is getting absolutely no push you decide to try to stubbornly run it up the middle anyway

3. that they even went for it on 4th down that deep in your own territory when there was 7+ minutes left on the clock.

They were lucky they only gave up 3 in that situation. It could have been "GAME OVER".
