Another decommit

A few years ago with football I just developed the personal policy I'm not going to get excited about a player until I see him on the field playing in Cardinal and Gold. I don't make good decisions often but that one was great in terms of not worrying about commits/decommits ect.

The corollary to this is to not freak out and/or slam a kid who might make another decision because it seems to be the best one for him. We have evidence right on our team that sometimes they go another direction but eventually find that thee other destination is not for them and remember who else was at the top of their list.

It is dumb to burn bridges with kids that the staff may still want in the future.

Was thinking the same thing.

But, at least he was 1000% committed to committing the assault, or battery, whichever it was
So when the Texas Tech student body brings in old batteries to throw at the visiting bench - like they have a reputation for doing - is that assault with a battery as early as when they bring them through the gates. So when they throw them it is battery with a battery?

There are positives and negatives to this battery situation.

Do they wrap the batteries in the tortillas?

Maybe they are just "waving" to the visiting team . . . .

That’s a great way to think of it especially now when you could lose (or pickup) anyone. I really really wish we had a “super”(wealthy) donor who could give a huge amount to the program!
