First season in a short lifetime with no Joens on the roster? I echo the Sweet Sixteen expectations - darn few front lines better than this and with Williams‘ scoring the backcourt will be much improved.

Since the 17-18 season, when Bridget was a junior. It's been a while.
Expectations should always be tempered regardless of sport. WE ARE IOWA STATE.
All kidding aside…we have a great 1-2, but others will have to step up to provide scoring and defense. I’m hoping Hare is at her best. We have depth. It’s always going to be fun.
We are going to be picked by the coaches to win the Big 12. There won't be any hiding or tempering expectations unless we have a rash of early season injures to top players.
Me waiting for the Big 12 pre-season awards and coaches poll that should be out this week. More interested in the poll than the player picks although Crooks may be POY pick.
I assume ISU will be 1st place pick but I'm interested in who the coaches think will be the top competitors. So much changes in the off season with transfers and portal adds and I don't really try to keep up on other teams signings.

Maybe a pick'em like last years pre-season with KSU and ISU essentially tied for first place. TCU did add a lot.
I agree. Have to pick em until they don’t do it. ISU had lofty expectations last year. Faced a brutal schedule. Freshmen didn’t live up to the hype (doesn’t mean they won’t) and losing Hare didn’t help things. ISU has to prove they can before I’d pick em. I expect Baylor to get votes and OSU.
Did Prince finally graduate or did she get granted a 14th year?
I have a TCU alum buddy and he shared a link with me months ago about her signing with a team in the Middle East. I believe it was in Lebanon and I don’t know if she went. I recall Ashley Joens declined a lucrative opportunity in Israel about the same time for “security” reasons. Anyway, our favorite gal Sedona has embarked on a truly professional career, which likely doesn’t pay as well as TCU.
