Heacock is getting schooled today, and his guys aren't tackling to boot.

I don’t think it’s heacock. I think it the talent we can put on the field today. They are to young and to many injuries

Our D will look a little better in the 2nd half as Heacock adjusts. But that is the problem. How about making the adjustments 1st quarter?

Weird how I was getting dislikes and dumb posts earlier this week when I said that CMC and Mouser had better bring their game plan that can score 40 points or more.

Cincy has a VERY potent offense, and our defense is hobbled. Knew we’d need a LOT of points to win this thing.

Worst defensive performance of the Campbell era. Has nothing to do with the missing corners

It has everything to do with the corners. Their absence has forced us to play such a soft zone that you aren’t in position for stopping those runs. And forcing the LBs to cover the edges that they just aren’t fast enough to do. The Safties can’t come up and support the run like they have all season because they don’t have the confidence in the corners not getting beat deep.

Our two injured corners are great tacklers. We miss them more in the run defense than the pass defense

Let's also remember the O not only has not kept the ball for long, but when they did score, they did it quickly. Our D has played the majority of the game.

It’s impeccable that we were lights out on defense against Arizona but look like a high school JV team today. I get there are injuries, but this is just a flat out disaster.
