Honest question, are the grass lots truly filling up every week? Guess its hard to tell since they likely were not sold out vs USD.. then Cyhawk...

Seems to me like scalpers buy up all the passes..

I understand its my fault for not planning which games I could go to ahead of time.. but I have a 3 and 6 yo and have to drive from Sioux Falls..

Having to pay 150+ for a pass that cost 25 last year is a hard pill to swallow.

Anyone have experience with haunted forest parking this year? Has traffic flow post game been ok? Thanks in advance for any advice!

FYI thinking this year we will be there to watch clones go 5-0 on 9/27 and homecoming 10/25.

My oldest son bought GA passes two years ago and they had a cap on how many you could buy at that time.

You couldn't pay me to park in the grass lots unless you get there super early to tailgate. If you're not tailgating park a 15 or 20 minute walk away in the neighborhoods so you don't have to deal with traffic after the game. The big grass lot can take hours to empty. If you want to tailgate go disposable and tailgate right outside the stadium.

We typically like to tailgate for a couple hours, up to 6 if its not am 11am kick... anyone know when they announcing kickoff time?

Prices went up this year. Just shy of $50 (including ticketmaster fees). $100 for the Iowa game.

When I bought one for the Iowa game I could only buy one. Not sure if previous years had limits.

I think supply is being artificially limited. I recall only 1 game last year where they opened G9. I think it was opened for Iowa this year.

Traffic out of those lots after games is criminally slow. Seriously needs to be fixed. Solution would be to somehow force lincoln way and south duff folks over to Dayton. Then stream people out of the G (and VetMed) lots onto 16th Ave onto duff and then onto 30. No lights would be needed along the way.

This was my first year not having a parking pass after we gave up our SEZ tickets. I thought, no problem, just go online and buy a grass lot ticket. First day they went on sale, they were all gone by the time I looked for the USD game. I can't imagine that many people got in before me, so I figure there has to be some sort of game going on with those parking passes.

And do season ticket parking passes require a donation now? For years my season parking pass was $100 total for all 6 or 7 games. Now on Cyclones.com I see $18,000 Parking and $9,000 parking. $1,800 parking. $900 parking. Am I seeing that wrong?

2025 Iowa State Football Parking
Estimated Parking Requirements
$18,000 & $9,000 $9,000 & $4,500
$4,500 & $1,800 $1,800
$900 $900 & $360

Here's the cheapest ticket for Arizona. Cyclones.com takes you right to Ticketmaster. It's as if you simply cannot buy parking from the ticket office.

All tickets though Cyclones ticket office are sold though Ticketmaster, as far as I know. If there are tickets available they will show, if only resale tickets are available that is what shows. I would guess if you call the ticket office they will still process through Ticketmaster, as that is how the digital tickets work.

Yes, Parking requires donation, of at least $360. Plus, pass price, for any reserved/paved lot and must be bought with season ticket. Unless you buy grass public lots which most of the time sell within minutes of being released now that they are sold early and online. Im also not sure if everyone donating $360 are able to get parking passes, last I knew parking would sell out before all the $360 donors that wanted passes got them.

Outside of that you have to go resale, and expect to pay a premium for any parking.

Parking has become harder to get than tickets, and most of the time more expensive. You can easily spend more on parking than tickets to the game. You will rarely find even grass parking for less than $100, and if you do, consider yourself very lucky. For games like the Cyhawk, expect to pay $500 minimum for paved lots around CyTown area. More the closer you get to stadium. Other games $250+ for paved spot is common

We are walking distance from stadium but have an A5 parking pass. Paid for our 2 season tickets by selling the parking for the first 3 games. Really true when Iowa is on the schedule.

This is about where we’ve landed. Park near Welch, hit a bar or restaurant, pack a cooler with drinks that you won’t be upset if you just have to throw away and just wander around and have a few beers before the game. I swore off the grass lots after Tech last year.

Given the outrageous prices on ticket master what are the private lots (cash) going for? Do the prices go down on ticketmaster on gameday?

I'm a 20 year season ticket holder who parked in the grass lots for years for multiple reasons. This is our third season with a C1/C2 pass. We loved the grass lots but the pre purchase pass is a huge inconvenience. It's also super frustrating to see the lots not even close to full for most games that are "sold out". If you donate in that $360 tier you are definitely getting a parking pass but it may be in vet med.

The haunted is an option and they are expanding. They can also park a lot of cars in the private property that is next to the park that is just north of the haunted forest across 4th St.. It's a nice spot to tailgate and plenty of room in the park north of that area for kids to play. I don't know what either are charging but I suspect they have increased their prices.

This lot on the other side of the creek from the Haunted Forest is probably $35? It tends to be a pretty underutilized lot too.

I think it was $50 for South Dakota and $60 for Iowa, they've jacked their prices up the last few years too.
I can handle $50.00 but I was truly shocked when I went to get a grass lot pass. I normally park with my son in D5 but we are bringing family and need additional parking.
